What is happening with Java?

Monday, 6th June, Online Meetup

This meetup was organised by LJC: London Java Community in June 2022

“To keep Java still a competitive language and at the top, changes are needed, and this new model can be confusing even for more experienced engineers…” Rodrigo Soares Chaves, 2019

Java is an ever evolving language and ecosystem. With the frequent releases new things are constantly being added and improved upon with every release. Are you struggling to keep up? Do you feel like you’re being left behind? Maybe you just want a handy update of everything that is moving and shaking within the world of Java?

We’re here to help! We have a roundtable event with many invited guests from the Java world in which we’ll be talking about everything that is new, and what’s coming next.

During this informal, light hearted and fun open roundtable event you’ll have an opportunity to submit questions in advance, which will be handled by those in the know. You’ll also be able to ask questions live too.

Who should come:

Expert Java engineers that know everything about what is happening at the moment.

Absolute beginners that don’t know where to start with Java.

Everyone in between that is interested in the latest developments and trends with the language.

The London Java Community is sponsored by Synk, Sonatype and Jfrog
