This Thursday's Matter is... AWS Immersion Days.
We'll be joined by longtime friend of Skills Matter, Derya "Dorian" Sezen who will introduce this new initiative from AWS. Immersion Days are designed as a hands-on way for technical experts to explore different facets of the Amazon Web Services and to assess which parts of the platform might be appropriate to leverage for their business problems.
Thursday's Matter is a virtual meetup on the topics that truly matter to today's developers.
Join us every Thursday when we'll be joined by an expert from around the globe. Each week we'll explore topics such as functional languages, mobile development, agile methodologies and machine learning.
THE FORMAT A 40-minute expert talk followed by a Q&A session.
AWS has recently published a Coding-Dojo style hands-on-labs where there are several topics which you can get your hands dirty with the latest AWS technologies by applying real-world scenarios
I will begin a generic AWS Immersion Day presentation and after I will go over several AWS Immersion Day topics and some examples to give the audience an idea of whether to invest in that or not. I will also mention some of the scenarios just to give an idea of how it will look like.
